Summer programming in HERE! Summer class offerings are available both in-person and on Zoom. I will take only a limited number of in-person students. The registration form will be updated to reflect when those spaces are filled. Students attending in-person must follow COVID Prevention Protocols, which you can find at the bottom of this page. If these don't work for your family, Zoom is the option for you! I hope to see your kiddos this summer for a little creative fun!

This is Not a Writing Class (4-week Series)

This is not a class on writing formats, structures or mechanics. Oh no! This is a class designed to help children access the words within them and put those words out into the world! Our goal for this class will be to help students establish their voice. This class won’t be about filling up pages with words but about discovering the power and play of language. ⁣

Cost: $60 per student
Date: June 23rd - July 14th
Time: 11 am - 12 pm Eastern

Ages: Ages 7/8 and up

Creative Writing Sessions

Creative Writing Sessions are an opportunity for students to get experimental in their writing and try something new! Each session, we will work on a writing prompt and share the work and ideas the prompt inspired.

Note: You sign up for these individually. It's not necessary to attend all of them.

Cost: $15 per student (per day)
Date: Wednesdays, June 9th - July 14th

Teen Writing Group (6-weeks)

This Writing Group is for teens with a particular interest in writing and cultivating their craft! Run like a traditional writing group, this is a safe space for students to bring work to share, and receive & give peer feedback and ideas each week. This is not an instructional space. The development and trajectory of the conversation in this group will be fueled by the teens' interests that compose it.

Cost: $90 per student
Date: Thursdays, June 10th - July 15th

YA Book Club

‌

A book club for anyone who likes to talk about books! We will meet on three different Thursdays to hang out, chat about our selected book, and share our love of reading.

June 17th Meeting - A Good Girl's Guide to Murder, by Holly Jackson

July 1st Meeting - Concrete Rose, by Angie Thomas 

July 15th Meeting - Cemetery Boys, by Aiden Thomas
