The goal of this monthly meeting will be to nurture your writer's ability to tap into their writing voice and access the words within them.
This Writer's Club students will be exploring the cultural offerings around them by writing a review based on their experiences! From books to dance, fashion, film, food, music, theater, TV and video games - the choice is theirs! But first, we will explore genres and how they influence our lives, and read through a couple of example New York Times reviews to understand the form and possible approaches, before venturing into tackling their own review!
Need to know:Class meets from 11-2. All students must bring lunch and snacks. Other materials may be requested, but emails will be sent out regarding those ahead of time.
