Wet to Dry, by Ben Forrester

Dark flavored roots blend in with the lighter surroundings,

The thickness of the paint creates a 3D effect on the blank spaces it fills,

While it's all magnified on an empty mind.

After the roots dry and the mist fades it becomes still with the mind.

The mind was not man made but it was found.

It could be lost.

It could be found.

This piece was created during our Poetic Symmetry Art Workshop. It's an ekphrastic poem inspired by student-created symmetrical art.
